Transitional Kindergarten

Meeting the Needs of Young Five Year Olds

Honey Tree provides a Transitional Kindergarten that meets the unique needs of young 5 year olds with late summer or fall birthdays. The focus is on developing and strengthening school readiness skills in a learning environment that balances play and academic experiences. Our program offers a modified kindergarten curriculum that is developmentally and age appropriate in a positive and supportive environment. The class has 12 students with a teacher and assistant teacher. Our Transitional Kindergarten accepts students who are age eligible for California public school TK, 5 years old by December 1.
