H. Honey Buzz - April 2018

 Welcome Back:

Hope everyone had a great Spring Break. We are glad to get back and dig in to spring activities. One of them is planting in our garden.

April Curriculum Themes:

During April we will include a study of life cycles. We have a butterfly garden on our west yard. Our Milkweed plants will attract butterflies that will lay their eggs and will be covered in caterpillars. Our TK/Kindergarten will be watching chicks hatch from eggs and all preschool classes will visit them. Our faith theme is springtime and new life in God’s world.

Announcing Retirement:

Mrs. Carr will be retiring at the end of this school year. During her 13 years at Honey Tree she has been an assistant teacher, a teacher, and assistant director. She has touched the lives of many students and we will miss her. We wish her lots of exciting and fun adventures ahead, especially spending more time with her grandson, Isaac.

Original Works:

Thank you for participating in our spring fundraiser. We are able to give the teachers about $200 for the purchase of new classroom supplies and toys.
